Alexa Collins & Tom Shields
“On our wedding day, Kristina … put us at ease during our whole day. She was so easy going and knew where to take all the best pictures.”
How it works
- 01
Reserve the date.
A signed agreement and a retainer make it official.
- 02
We plan together.
As the wedding gets closer, we shape the timeline and the photography around the way you want the day to feel.
- 03
Then, you live it.
I will take it from there.
FAQ
What if I’m not sure how many hours we need?
That is normal. Once I know your timeline, venue and priorities, I will recommend what makes sense. Focused Day keeps the photography around the heart of the celebration; Full Day gives the day more room to unfold naturally. If the celebration extends into another event or another day, I will shape it as a Wedding Weekend.
When do we get our photos?
You will see a set of sneak peeks within the first week, so you are not waiting to see anything. Your full high-resolution gallery is delivered digitally, with final retouched photographs within about 45 business days after you make your proof selections. The sooner you pick, the sooner retouching starts.
How do we book?
A signed agreement and a 30% retainer (plus tax) hold your date exclusively. The remaining balance is due as set out in your agreement.
What if we need to move or cancel the date?
The retainer is non-refundable, because your date is held exclusively for you. Any change to the date, the collection or the services has to be approved by Diptych Studio in writing, so tell me as early as you can. Moving up to a larger collection can be approved at any time, subject to availability; moving down after booking is not guaranteed.
What about the venue’s outside vendor fee?
Most resorts charge an outside vendor fee or require a day pass for external photographers. The resort sets it and charges it, not me, and they change it often, so treat any figure you find as an approximate reference. Ask your wedding coordinator at the hotel to confirm the amount for your date in writing, and ask whether there is any flexibility: some hotels waive or reduce it. Once it is settled, I handle the logistics with your planner.

Wedding Weekend Experience
A weekend isn't a separate collection — it's the hours you need, across however many days.
