Hyatt Ziva Cancun hosted this South Asian celebration across three days in August, and we photographed all of it. The resort sits at Punta Cancun with water on three sides, and every event had its own space and its own look: the ballroom, the Lighthouse Gazebo, the Sky Terrace, the Cliff Gazebo and the Rooftop Terrace.
The Mehndi opened the weekend. On the second day the Pithi filled the morning, and that evening came the Baraat, the Hindu ceremony and the Sangeet. The third day brought a second wedding ceremony, the reception, fireworks and an after party.
