Dreams Natura takes its cue from the cenotes and jungle of the region: a family-friendly all-inclusive near Puerto Morelos where the landscaping, the water features and the architecture all reference the natural world inland rather than only the sea. That gives a wedding gallery two distinct palettes — beach and jungle — inside one property.
We have photographed here, and the gardens are the underused asset. Most couples plan entirely around the beach; the greenery is what makes the portraits feel like Riviera Maya rather than any beach anywhere.

Garden Art
A green open-air venue currently listed for around 250 guests. It is a useful alternative for couples who want foliage and a nature-forward background instead of direct sand and ocean.
Blue Water Rooftop
A current resort-specific page lists this elevated open-air venue for about 100 guests. Rooftop locations can give cleaner horizons and architectural lines, but wind and direct sun matter more here than in sheltered garden locations.
Suite Peony Terrace
Hyatt specifically highlights celebrations from the exclusive Peony Suite balcony, and the resort-specific events page lists the Peony Terrace for around 100 guests. Verify access and package eligibility because suite-related event spaces may depend on the couple's booking.

Recommended. It is a golf-cart resort, so a first look protects your portrait time regardless of how the ceremony runs — and lets us use the gardens properly rather than squeezing them in.
Logistics worth knowing
Dreams Natura is on the Riviera Cancun / Puerto Morelos corridor. Hyatt currently describes the 553-room resort as approximately 10 miles from Cancun International Airport. Because the resort offers 12 wedding locations across beach, garden, rooftop, pool, terrace and indoor zones, the exact event-space sequence should be confirmed before building the photography timeline.

- Outside vendors are accepted. In late 2025 a couple planning here was told the resort charges per person for outside vendors, though they never got a confirmed amount, so treat that only as a hint of how the charge is structured. Confirm the current photographer charge, pass type and registration process with the wedding coordinator.
- These rules belong to the resort, not to me. The resort sets the fee, charges it and changes it, often from one season to the next and sometimes from one wedding to the next, so I do not publish an amount here: any number you find online is already out of date for your date. Ask your wedding coordinator at the resort to confirm it in writing, and ask early: it is a real line in the budget. It is also worth asking whether there is any flexibility. Some venues waive or reduce the fee, often when the vendor team books rooms for a few nights or when the wedding is booked through certain agencies, and plenty of couples never find out because they never ask.

The light here
For an outdoor ceremony, build the timeline around late-afternoon light rather than midday. For a spring wedding here, Kristina usually recommends a ceremony between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m.: it leaves the ceremony in kind light and still protects a real portrait window afterwards. For portraits, preserve the final 45 to 60 minutes before sunset. The beach faces the Caribbean, so sunset itself falls inland rather than into the ocean horizon.
