Puerto Vallarta Wedding Photographer

Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita sit on Banderas Bay, on Mexico's Pacific coast. There are jungle-backed mountains and a wide bay. And like every Pacific venue, the sun sets over the ocean, not behind the hotel. Coming from the Caribbean, the difference is immediate. The end of the day is the highlight, not a quiet fade. It is also short, so the timeline is built to spend that window on the two of you.

Dreams Bahia Mita, near Punta Mita, is the venue I have photographed here. The ceremony was on the wooden deck by the beach garden, close to the water. The Nest, a small elevated spot, worked beautifully for a private first look before the guests arrived. The resort also has a moon deck and terraces with views across the bay.
