Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach sits at Punta Cancun with one of the widest beaches in the hotel zone — genuinely wide, which matters more than it sounds: there is room to place a ceremony, seat guests and still keep an uncluttered horizon behind the vows. It also has large-capacity ballrooms, making it one of the few Cancun venues comfortable with a big celebration.

Large indoor climate-controlled event spaces for bigger celebrations and weather backup. Exact capacities depend heavily on which ballroom section is contracted.

Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is at Boulevard Kukulcan Km 9.5 in Cancun's Hotel Zone. Current resort wedding material places the property around 30 minutes from Cancun International Airport. At a wedding here, the hotel coordinator worked directly with Kristina on the final timeline, the resort provided a vendor box lunch, and Kristina could enter the bridal-suite area before the formal start of coverage to begin photographing details.

- These rules belong to the resort, not to me. The resort sets the fee, charges it and changes it, often from one season to the next and sometimes from one wedding to the next, so I do not publish an amount here: any number you find online is already out of date for your date. Ask your wedding coordinator at the resort to confirm it in writing, and ask early: it is a real line in the budget. It is also worth asking whether there is any flexibility. Some venues waive or reduce the fee, often when the vendor team books rooms for a few nights or when the wedding is booked through certain agencies, and plenty of couples never find out because they never ask.

A November wedding here was shifted to a 5:00 p.m. ceremony specifically to preserve roughly 30 additional minutes for portraits before the light disappeared. Cancun sunset on November 21 is around 6:00 p.m. in the current seasonal pattern. Punta Cancun's curved shoreline gives more directional flexibility than a straight east-facing Caribbean beach, but the exact terrace or beach orientation matters.
