Excellence Playa Mujeres is a large adults-only resort in the gated Playa Mujeres area north of Cancun. The official map separates the Stone Gazebo, beach, meeting/event areas and guest-room zones, so confirm the exact ceremony-to-reception route before building coverage. Venue assignment can depend on guest count and availability. Vendor check-in, parking, equipment access and any room-based access workaround remain unconfirmed and should be obtained from the wedding coordinator in writing.

Protect the final 45 to 60 minutes before sunset for couple portraits and do not promise the sun dropping into the ocean. A July ceremony at 4:00 p.m. with sunset near 7:33 leaves a comfortable late-afternoon portrait window; recalculate sunset for your own date.
